To protect the town’s hemlock trees from an invasive insect, the Harrisville Conservation Commission is turning to another state’s beetles for help.

On Wednesday, the group planned to release 300 to 600 laricobious nigrinus beetles, shipped from North Carolina, in some woods on Tuttle Lane to attack wooly adelgids.
